Mikhail Karikis
Mikhail Karikis is a Greek-born and London-based artist, coined by critics a ‘sound alchemist’ (Le Monde) and noted for his ‘sumptuous experimentalism’ (WIRE). With studies in architecture and in fine art, Karikis’s practice in sound, performance and visual art is equally embraced by the art gallery and the concert hall. His music is released internationally; other work has featured at Tate, De La Warr Pavilion, Nederlands Dans Theater, Prefix ICA (Canada), Coreana Museum (S.Korea) and elsewhere.
